Philosopy This philosophy requires a broad spectrum of opportunity from vocational skills through professional programs and gives rise to the "ladder concept" whereby students may be prepared to enter the job market after two, four, or five years and in which work done in a diploma may be used toward a baccalaureate degree program, if desired. While the diploma programs have not yet been fully started during the current academic session, they will be well elaborated upon in subsequent bulletins.

Mission In line with the mission of Babcock University, the School of Science and Technology exists to develop and provide to the country, professionals who are spiritually, physically, psychologically and socially competent and responsible by the integration of the principles of the basic sciences, information technology, vocational and service- oriented disciplines within an Adventist framework. To this end, the School through four departments offers the following undergraduate degrees and certificates.
Objectives The purposes of the School of Science and Technology within the framework of Babcock University are to provide, through a unified work-learning system: a balanced and harmonious development of the physical, mental, and spiritual powers; a well-integrated spectrum of scientific and technological education, related to the broad scope of modern industry, by emphasizing and merging theories with practical. a comprehensive structure, adequate for learning and growth of young minds in preparation for future leadership; a sound educational base for entrance into related professional areas and empowerment for integration of human fives into a technological society for the uplift of mankind and for the honor of the Creator.
